It is the mission of the Nitro Fire Department to prevent the loss of life and property damage through current training, fire prevention and supplying community education. The Nitro Fire Department will provide quality and professional services to the citizens, with honesty and integrity.
Vision Statement:
The Nitro Fire Department shall continuously strive to meet the changing needs of our city by supplying a fully equipped and technologically advanced department of highly trained men and women. We will keep an elevated level of readiness to mitigate any challenge that we face by focusing on the professional development and training of our personnel.
